Jonas + Paige In Germany

WE’RE THE BüLTEMANNS!

In God's providence, we met on our first day of seminary in an elementary Greek class. We got to know each other as classmates and soon became friends.

A couple months later, we went on a walk together on a drizzling day in March. Jonas asked if I would be willing to live in Germany and do ministry there amongst German people. My response was, “If I loved you I would.”

We married in March of 2016 and welcomed our daughter, Nora Ann, to our family in October of 2018.

We are thankful to God for the privilege to have studied and been trained at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky where we graduated in December of 2018.

In July of 2019 we moved to Munich, Germany were Jonas did a one-year trainee program in the Freie evangelische Gemeinde München-Mitte (an evangelical church in Downtown Munich). While in Munich we welcomed our second daughter, Fenley Kay.

We moved again in the summer of 2020, as Jonas was called to be the pastor of a small church in Münster, Evangelische Freikirche am Bohlweg. In His kindness, God led us to this church and we are eager to serve this local congregation of believers.

We want to partner with you in an effort to see bible-believing churches planted in Germany.
Would you ask God what your part in our ministry could be?

May we glorify God in everything we say and do!

Jonas and Paige are being sent out by Redeemer Bible Church as global church planters to Germany.

The Bueltemann’s giving system is set up through Global Service Network.

I grew up in Freckenhorst, a small village in the north west of Germany. My parents are believers and brought my siblings and me up in the church. Our church, however, was about 40 minutes away in Münster and the distance made it difficult for me to establish Christian friendships. Thankfully when I was 15 years old, an evangelical church (Freie Kirchengemeinde Warendorf) was planted within biking distance from my family’s home. They offered a course called 50 Lectures through the Bible, which shows how the Bible fits together and that Jesus is the only way out of our sin. During this time, I accepted Jesus as my own Savior. I was baptized in Münster but then joined the church plant near my hometown. Soon after, I taught the 50 Lectures to some friends, started to teach small devotionals in the youth group and preached occasionally. After I finished my undergraduate studies in business and administration, I felt the responsibility to set aside time to study the Bible in order to be prepared for whatever God might call me to do. I came to America in 2014 to attend The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, where I met my wife. We married in March 2016 and welcomed our daughter Nora Ann into our family in October 2018. During the last year the Lord has strengthened my desire to pour my life into shepherding a church.

I grew up in Whiteland, Indiana, and by God’s grace I was raised in the church. I do not take for granted that I heard the gospel many times in my life and I never really doubted that God existed and that He loved me. As I matured and went into high school, I saw my friends and peers going one way, but something deep in me did not want to do the same. God opened my eyes to see that I was a sinner in desperate need of Jesus. God saved me when I was 16 years old and I was baptized at Greenwood Christian Church. I will forever be thankful for the faithful witness of my mother, grandmother and our youth group. After high school I studied journalism at Liberty University and worked at Woodlands Camp in the summers. In my last year at Liberty I felt the call the ministry and a passion grew in me to study God’s Word and to teach it to others. I attended Southern Seminary, where I met my husband, grew in my faith and my desire to see God’s Church built and His kingdom come. Three years and a baby later, we are excited to serve God in Germany and tell people the good news of Jesus.
